Booking
Telephone bookings can only be held for 7 days. Your booking will be confirmed in writing on receipt of the booking form and a 25% deposit. The balance is due 28 days before the start of the course or cruise. If the balance is not received within this period, we reserve the right to re-book the berth.

Cancellations
If you cancel your booking and we are unable to re-let it, you will be liable for the full charge. If however, we do manage to re-let your booking, your payment will be refunded, less the 25% deposit to cover costs. If through circumstances beyond our control it becomes necessary for us to cancel a course or cruise, all payments will be returned without liability to the owners.

Ocean & Long Distance Passages
These passages are booked for seven-day periods but if the duration of the passage exceeds seven days there will be no additional charge. Fowey Sailing School will not be liable for reimbursement if stress of weather, breakdown or any other reason prevents us from arriving at the intended destination.

Insurance
Although the vessels are fully insured for marine risks, the insurance does not cover party members or their personal effects. Whilst every care is taken, the owners will not be responsible for any injury, damage or loss whatsoever. Holiday cancellation insurance is advisable.

Skipper
In the interest of safety, the decisions of the skipper must be considered final in all matters concerning the operation of the vessel.
